Economic Rennaissance

An innovative economy must be the engine of society's progress.

The Slovenian economy is growing at a healthy rate and it shows. Be it construction, tourism, medical services of IT professionals, amidst full employment, our industries are struggling to find sufficient workers. We need to think about and plan the next steps: how can we improve our transport infrastructures to start developing all regions and not overburden Ljubljana? How can we meet a growing economy's energy needs? And how can we continue to ensure incomes across the whole population. Our GDP today is at 92% per capita of the EU average: we need an economic vision for the next decade, one which should ensure that we can surpass the EU average and become one of the economic powerhouses of the European Union.
